Today, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, current Commissioner Jerry Joseph will face Patricia Alvarez Gambino, an accused PTSA overspender, in a run-off for City of Sunny Isles Beach Commission Seat 1. Rotten bananas lurk around every corner during Miami political campaigns, especially in Sunny Isles Beach, aka Little Moscow, with Soviet-style campaign tactics.
Banana Republic News investigators are here to help peel the rotten skin off this overripe banana swarming with nagging nats and help you determine which monkey to avoid in tomorrow’s runoff.
Greg Capra, ousted Condo Commander and failed commission candidate, sends defamatory emails to Sunny Isles Beach voters on behalf of Alvarez
As if hosting coffee events with alleged child abuser George Bardmesser and losing an election in November isn’t enough, Mr. Greg Capra or someone pretending to be him is playing defamatory keyboard warrior.
It’s no secret that both Bardmesser and Capra despise the only multi-generational American in the race – Commissioner Jerry Joseph. They despise him enough to tie a concrete block to his leg in Soviet-style and take him to the bottom of Biscayne Bay. Fortunately, thus far Bardmesser was arrested for two counts of child abuse for choke holding minor children in a public restaurant. Meanwhile, Capra and the Patricia Alvarez gang are only stealing signs and poking his keyboard to try to confuse voters.
“Jerry keeps coming back stronger than ever. He may be small in stature but mighty in wisdom, words, and willpower for what’s right for his community. He truly does unto others as he would have others do unto his own family,” says his wife, Jodie Skibinsky.
Debt Collectors Currently Chasing One of the Elephant Husbands In the Room
Defamatory emails, tyrannical baseless texts, and social media posts circulate like Miami hurricanes, all while voters could be avoiding the elephants in the room named American Express, Citibank, Discover, and Credit One, all in court orders thanks to Mr. Giuseppe Gambino, husband of Patricia Alvarez Gambino.
Is Mrs. Alvarez and her campaign really resorting to stealing signs?
According to a recent YouTube video by The Accountability Network, while already being court-ordered to pay back over $57,000, Mrs. Alvarez-Gambino is out with her friend Harvey Derrick stealing political campaign signs.
Fun Free State of Florida Fact: In Florida, stealing political signs could cost the Gambino Gang a misdemeanor for each stolen sign. And each count could result in fines of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail. The problem is that the Mayor’s police often won’t take a police report or do anything about it.
By Alvarez’s loud Kamala Harris-like cackle, she laughs about it as she is joined by Monica Yuly Castrillon and Harvey Derrick as if they’ve gotten away with it.
Residents are complaining all over social media about Alvarez harassing them in condo association mail rooms. According to some videos, Mrs. Alvarez has received notices of violations from at least one condo association.
Divorce Dirt, May No Good Deed Go Unpunished
Is Commissioner Jerry Joseph guilty of creating groups for his endorsements?
This article breaks down the distribution of rotten bananas and their nats, circulating lies and deception throughout the Sunny Isles Beach community around the many Jerry Joseph notable endorsements.
From campaign materials to deceptive digital emails produced by non-candidates, we break down the facts with evidence and links so you can make the right decision for Sunny Isles tomorrow morning.
Capra Marries Jerry Joseph and Fabiola Stuyvesant
- Despite the ousted HOA commander losing his election against Sunny Isles Beach Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant, one would think he’s still running against her. Capra sent a recent email out that couples Stuyvesant with Jerry Joseph as if they are a married couple. Banana Republic News confirmed – that the two commissioners are NOT married, nor have they ever dated or been in a romantic relationship. Think they are glad Mr. Capra is not a matchmaker too?
- Neither Commissioner Jerry Joseph nor Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant was exposed for voter fraud during the November election. Capra has accused them and filed failed, baseless complaints with the ethics commission in the past.
- No organization or commission has deemed Fabiola a fraud. She is a mom, a human, and now an elected official despite Mr. Capra’s wishes.
Mayor Svechin’s Republican Club of Greater Sunny Isles Beach Not Registered on Sunbiz
4. Mr. Capra sent a screenshot from the Republican Club of Great Sunny Isles Beach. It was confirmed the club posted the Voter Fraud Alert on its official Facebook channel, complete with 92 Facebook followers.
According to Commissioner Joseph, the club is run by Mayor Larisa Svechin. We could find the Mayor as a title member of Florida’s Not-for-Profit Corporation, THE SUNNY ISLES BEACH FOUNDATION, INC., but Banana Republic News could not confirm a legal Sunbiz filing for the entity shown on the logo, the “Republican Club of Greater Sunny Isles Beach.” Therefore, the organization’s 92 Facebook followers may be disappointed that their club may need the title “Fraud Alert” or get the club registered as the other Republican Clubs are on Sunbiz.
5. Despite Mr. Capra’s or the Mayor’s claims, Commissioner Joseph has not been accused of any crimes nor found guilty of ethics board complaints therefore we must call the “dishonest and deceitful individual like Jerry Joseph” part of the statement the deceit.
6. Members of the Miami Dade Election Brigade describe Mr. Joseph as transparent, honest, committed, and logical conservative man. Miami Independent writer Mr. Eduardo Vidal, very politically active investigative journalist. and VP of Election Brigade says, “Jerry is NOT a RINO (Republican In Name Only)”.
7. Maybe Mayor Svechin’s Republican Club refers to Commissioner Joseph’s endorsements from mostly Republican-founded organizations, and all confirmed the validity of Commissioner Joseph’s endorsements.
Banana Republic News found all five organizations listed as viable companies or organizations, and their websites were full of content and not self-serving.
On the contrary, our investigation found the Republican Club of Greater Sunny Isles Beach to appear blank and self-serving, with primarily photos of Mayor Svechin and other Republicans who cannot be considered conservatives by nature or vote.
The websites for each organization that endorsed Commissioner Joseph have confirmed that Joseph is a supporter of their organization or an attendee of their meetings. Still, he did NOT make up the organization, as stated in Mr. Capra’s email.
- Veterans for America First attorney Jared Craig confirmed the organization indeed endorsed Commissioner Joseph.
- Christian Family Coalition‘s Mr. Anthony Verdugo validated Commissioner Jerry Joseph from CFC’s official email account.
- Republican Liberty Caucus was founded in 1991 and is the oldest continuously operating organization within the Liberty Republican movement.
- Mr. Joseph sent us this letter confirming his PBA endorsement. (see below)
- Election Brigade was founded by Republicans when the Miami-Dade Republican Party dissolved it’s election integrity group after the 2020 elections.
- South Florida PBA Police Benevolent Association is the association of police and servicemen who protect our community with dignity, honor, and a commitment to upholding the law.
Who’s throwing out the banana peels, causing slips and falls for Sunny Isles?
Our investigation concludes that Greg Capra appears to be working with Sunny Isles Mayor Larisa Svechin and Jerry’s opponent, Patricia Alvarez. They are utilizing what appears to be an unregistered Republican Club while claiming Commissioner Jerry Joseph is the one being deceptive. Mr. Capra and Mayor Svechin’s Republican group could be the most deceptive as they use the mayor’s position to defame another political opponent, all while they are all supposed to be Republicans working on the same team. That begs the question – who are the RINOS in this banana republic?
Both Jerry Joseph and Patricia Alvarez are Republican Elects To the Republican Executive Committee
Commissioner Jerry Joseph and Patricia Alvarez are newly elected to the Miami-Dade Republican Executive Committee; both will be sworn in the Miami-Dade Republican Party of Florida, which are considered party seats. Both won their elections along with others. The Sunny Isles Beach district always has two committeemen and two committeewomen, who are only voted on via the Republican Primary Ballot.
Before voters can make the right decision in tomorrow’s Commission runoff against Commissioner Jerry Joseph v. Patricia Alvarez, we hope you found this information helpful in breaking down the facts and determining who is funding who.
Commissioner Joseph Could Sue Mr. Capra
Regardless, if Commissioner Joseph chooses to file lawsuits, Mr. Capra’s defamatory emails could come back to haunt him. If so, this wouldn’t be the first time. Mr. Capra has a history of failed allegations against other public officials.
His distribution of emails from his email address and IP address isn’t the same as throwing eggs at his neighbors. Yes, he did that. Read here.
Sending emails and texts to Sunny Isles Beach residents stating absolute untruths and, in many cases, outright lies using lists he’s not supposed to use could have legal ramifications if enough voters report him. It is unknown if he utilized a voter email list he obtained from public records as a candidate running for office or if he’s a paid campaign worker for Ms. Alvarez. Typically, voters will find out AFTER they cast their votes.
Mr. Capra’s History of Being a “Nightmare Neighbor”
Before sending his neighbor tyrannical texts and commenting on every social media post, he began cranking up the music and was accused of throwing eggs at his neighbors. More than one of Capra’s neighbors identified him as the nightmare neighbor. One of the identifiers was a past Sunny Isles Beach Mayor. Click here to read more about Mr. Capra’s past empty allegations.
What can you do to report Mr. Capra or officials misusing voter data?
Voters are asking how a non-candidate like Capra obtained their contact information. Bi-partisan Election Brigade of Miami Dade County confirmed that voter contact information, such as emails and phone numbers, is often obtained directly through the Supervisor of Elections office. Candidates have a right to get the information while campaigning, but they are not supposed to use it after that.
