Banana Republic News is a Miami-based boots-on-the-ground journalist collaboration publication. BRN is committed to transparency. Regardless of who is involved, we conduct thorough research, provide much-needed public clarity, and connect to promote truth and transparency. Our articles provide links so that you can click from one article to another or one subject matter to another to use our site as a research tool, too easily. We also provide our sources, resources, and corrections. If we are wrong, we will issue a redaction, retraction, or public apology. For instance, in our Sheriff’s article, Emilio Estefan stated that he was not the co-founder of “Only In Dade”; he was only the co-FUNDer with no day-to-day involvement.
