Miami School Board RINO Lubby Navarro Running Rampant With Silicone Pregnancy Bellies, Tracking Ex-Boyfriend Hiring Best Lawyers In Miami
Mask lovers celebrate as Lubby Navarro, a former Miami-Dade School Board member and lobbyist for the South Broward Hospital District, has been arrested.
Navarro faces charges as if this Banana Republic story is like Netflix’s season 2 of The Stranger. Authorities said she used district-issued credit cards to rack up more than $100,000 in personal purchases, including everything from refrigerators to a trip to Disney World, Las Vegas, and the Dominican Republic.
That’s not all, though; honorary Doctor Navarro used the Miami-Dade credit cards to create her version of “The Stranger” as she purchased two silicone and cotton pregnancy bellies to make her ex-boyfriend think she was pregnant. She evidently wanted to keep track of him, too. Investigators found two Apple air tags she had purchased duck taped to his car.
In some cases, Navarro had good taste, just not her own money. Evidently, she really wanted to keep her family and especially her boyfriend happy! She took him to Sin City to stay at the Wynn Las Vegas. Yes, she was racking it up in my former hometown of Sin City, Las Wages. Here are some of my Vegas blogs if you’re doing anytime soon.
She was nice to her mom, too, although she just took her to the third-world Republica Dominica to vacation. {I do love the Dominican Republic too! My hubby and I married there.}
Where did this Banana Republic-style politician come from?
It’s not our fault, but she was born in what used to be the most beautiful banana republic of them all – Havana, Cuba. Lubby has been a resident of Miami for nearly 35 years.
Her family fled the communist country of Cuba during the 1980 Mariel Boatlift when about 125,000 Cubans left the island in just seven months between April and October 1980. They touched ground in Key West after rocky days at sea.
Being in Miami-Dade Detention Center is not her first time in detention. After her family arrived from Cuba, they were taken to Krome Detention Center, where they were processed for political asylum. I’m pretty sure this was typical.
In a GoLatinos article, Dr. Nuvarro stated, “We were at El Mosquito with limited food and resources and slept on a mat on the inside of a tent, facing very unpleasant health and sanitary conditions.”
Did Lubby want to return to the conditions that she knew, or did she not learn real American values at Florida International University, where she graduated with a degree in Political Science? In 2019, Ms. Navarro was later honored with a Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters from the Catholic University of New Spain. I wonder if they’ll revoke her HONORARY doctorate. Notice: the Dr. is not earned in her name.
She has resided in District 7, Kendall area of Miami-Dade County over 22 years. Her campaign website states that for over 25 years, Lubby has committed to serving our community through her commitment to public service.
Dr. Lubby served as 2002 administrative assistant to School Board Chair Perla Tabares Hantman, who was her mentor and role model on the school board, according to a GoLatinos.net article. At age 20, she started working for the Florida State Senate and the Florida House of Representatives, where she served as a legislative assistant to different members of the Florida Legislature. “That was in 1995, and since then, I have not stopped serving the public,” she says.
Did she equate service with robbery? Did residents of District 7 know they were Libby’s credit card?
Lubby requested a credit card increase in spending limit several times; the Miami Dade School Board obliged without question. Regardless, Lubby received the stamp of APPROVAL!
Then, Lubby was on the next Disney ride! I wonder if she tried the Miami-Dade (Not) Better Bus Network to work or Brightline to Orlando, too?
As the School Board’s Vice Chair, this further shows how little oversight the Miami’s Banana Republic politicians have and how much control they have over your tax dollars. As sometimes the only American-born politician in the room, this alarms me.
Why was Lubby Navarro Arrested?
Lubby resigned from the school board in December 2022, days before a Florida statute preventing lobbyists from being elected politicians. Navarro failed to turn in an expense report after requesting numerous increases for her school board credit card accounts.
Each school board member is permitted two credit cards. One for travel and the other for day-to-day expenses. The total of the monthly expenses is $6,000. In December 2022, before Lubby resigned, she spent over $13,000 and failed to turn in receipts.
Lubby has asked for increases numerous months prior, but the amounts went unquestioned. She most likely thought she could just get away with the lack of oversight.
Lubby made numerous personal purchases totaling over $100,000 on her school board credit card. In her combined lobbying salaries and with the school board, she made over $266,000 in 2022. So, it sounds like Navarro may have both poor judgment and a personal budgeting problem.
Miami-Dade jail records showed the 49-year-old Navarro faces charges including organized fraud and grand theft.
Jail records show Navarro was being held on a $2 million bond Thursday, January 11, but has bailed out and is currently on house arrest. Records show her current bond status as: CT3-4 and with House Arrest Level 1 Total Lockdown.

In the Banana Republic with no bananas, we think that our border control should watch out for a possible fleeing woman.
In a statement, Navarro’s attorneys said her arrest was a “brazen disregard for fairness and the Constitution” and proclaimed her innocence.
Which Constitution Are Lubby’s Attorney’s Reading? We aren’t really sure, but Grand Theft is typically a blatant charge. What will they do next, equate third-world-born Lubby to Donald Trump?
Probably. That’s what all RINO Republicans do when they get busted. Just for the record, I do NOT compare the two, but they do.

Governor Rick Scott Appointed Lubby Navarro to Miami-Dade School Board
Florida Governor Rick Scott appointed Lubby Navarro, a Miami-Dade School Board lobbyist at the time. The seat was vacated by former School Board Member Carlos Curbelo, elected to Congress. Navarros was hand-picked from a group of more than half a dozen wannabes, including former Miami-Dade School Board Member Renier Diaz de la Portilla, brother of recently arrested Alex Diaz de la Portilla.
Remember the Zika scare? Scott also contracted his wife’s BFF to fly over the one square mile of land we call Wynwood to shut down businesses just before Art Basel Miami Beach, the busiest and most economical time of year for small businesses. Let’s not worry about Scary Scott; he’s a good guy. Or is he? I’d love to hear your comments below.
